What is included in my membership?

During your first Muay Thai class, you’ll experience a welcoming atmosphere and will have a great time! The class will include a warm-up, skills drills, and a cool-down. You’ll learn the fundamentals of Muay Thai while getting a full-body workout.

What should I expect during my first Muay Thai class?

No! Our classes are designed to teach you everything you need to know about Muay Thai. We offer fundamentals classes as well as advanced classes, so you’ll be able to progress to any level you want.

Do I need prior experience to join The Clinic?

  • You need athletic clothing that you can move in. You can also bring your own gloves and hand wraps–gloves should be boxing gloves, not MMA gloves. In Muay Thai, the gloves cover the entire hand.

  • For sparring Muay Thai, you will wear shin guards and sometimes knee pads and elbow pads if you’d like. However, The Clinic provides loaner gear if you don’t have your own.

  • We recommend you bring footwear that is easy to take on and off as you’ll want to wear something to walk around off the mats and in the restroom, however only bare feet are allowed on the mats.

What equipment do I need to do Muay Thai?

Yes! If you are looking to get into better shape, The Clinic is perfect for you. If you are already in amazing shape, The Clinic is also perfect for you! Kru Dustin works with students of all fitness levels and will help you reach whatever goals you have.

Are classes suited to all fitness levels?

As a general rule, we say a student should be 12 years old or older. All students will be training in the same class meaning adults and minors will be training together, so the age limit is a guideline. Any child that is mature enough and not too small to train with adults is welcome. If you are unsure if your child fits this criteria, please stop in during a class, talk to the staff, and see if everyone is comfortable with your child training.

If you are under 18, you must bring a parent/guardian with you on your first day so they can sign a waiver.

Are there age limits?

Of course! There is ample space for you to watch your child take part in class. As a parent of an enrolled student, you can also utilize the strength and conditioning equipment for a small add-on fee.

Can I stay and watch my child in class?

Do you offer discounts for families?

We do! If parents and their kids, siblings, married couples, etc. want to sign up for classes, we do offer a family discount program. Contact us to get more information.
